Car stopped at red light tonight, engine still running?

I have a 1997 Honda Civic. Anyone know what this problem could be and if it's worth fixing?

I was at a red light but when I hit the accelerator to go forward it wouldn't move. I restarted the car, it worked, and drove about a tenth of a mile before the car just stopped going forward again. Fortunately I did this a few times and managed to get home since I was only like a mile from the house.

Basically… If you push on the gas the engine revs up, but when you put it into drive, nothing happens. But if you turn it off for a few minutes and restart, you can get the car moving for maybe 20 to 30 seconds and then it stops moving again (as though someone threw it into neutral)… But the engine is still running.

I'm going to have it towed to a dealer in the morning and have a feeling this car is done for. Any possible last thoughts before I throw down money on a new car?

Want to trade 2013 civic for SI?

So last year i got a 2013 Honda civic ex. We bought the car brand new and we're paying the car off monthly for 5 years. Just recently i have been wanting the SI version. The civic ex is an amazing car but i'm just having a hard time having fun while i'm driving. I'm thinking about trading my car in for the SI but i wanted to know first what i might be getting into. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with trading in their cars for something else (or even a trade similar to mine) and telling me how much more they had to pay (car payments, insurance, etc) if at all. I'm going to the Honda dealer soon to get some estimates but i wanna know from other people who have done the same thing what they had to do (don't wanna get ripped off lol). My car is still practically brand new. I was hoping to just pay the difference for the si with around the same amount of mileage (or even more, wouldnt really care) and continue paying my current car payments but i know it doesn't work like that lol. I don't even want to trade it in for the new 2014, i want the same year 2013 just i want the SI lol. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Why is my transmission making a clucking noise while idling?

I have a 98 Honda civic hx with manual transmission. The transmission is making a clucking noise while idling, Its not overly loud but you can hear it clearly. When I put the clutch in the noise stops. And it also makes like a grinding noise in gears 1-3 but not 4 or 5. It is the most loud when I'm in 1st gear. The grinding noise is on and off. But the clucking noise is constant whether while idling cold or hot. The transmission has no grinds or pop outs ever and shifts good.

Please tell me what might be wrong with my transmission!

Is 2.5 - 4.5 psi good for a carbed honda civic hatch?

I have a 93 civic hatch that's carbureted however my mechanical fuel pump is failing so I got a 30 gph 2.5-4.5 psi electric pump. Is this enough for my car? Its a street car with a return line setup. Any advice or ideas to consider are also welcome

I was sitting in my Chevy Silverado bumping some Banda El Recodo, Some real Man's Music. I was in the parking lot when all of a sudden I see a Mexican girl pull up on the other side of the parking lot directly across from me. I have to admit she was good looking.

She pulled up in a newer Honda Civic & she was listen to mayate rap music. It said "started from the bottom". I became so angry & filled with rage that a beautiful Mexican girl would be listening to mayate music.

So I hopped out of truck, I went up to her & using my boxing skills I threw a straight right hand, then a left hook to her jaw that sent her to the floor out cold. & kicked her 5 times

I got so scared & realized what I did afterwards I Got back in my truck & speed away as fast as I could bumping corridos
