Overheating 2003 Honda civic?

2003 Civic Ex Coupe with an automatic transmission. A couple months ago the heater core went out, leaking antifreeze into the passenger foot area, but I couldn't afford a mechanic, so for the time being I cut the hoses going to and from the heater core and coupled them together (I'm not sure if this has any impact on the current issue or not). After doing so I filled up both the radiator and the reservoir. Recently I've noticed that the engine temperature gets pretty hot in slow or stop and go traffic, never getting into the red. However today, in stop and go, it made it past the red, I pulled over, the smoke or steam was coming directly from the radiator cap, there was splashed antifreeze around the cap as if it was boiling out of the cap. However when I went to add water to the reservoir, it was totally full, exactly how it was a few months ago. I waited until the engine was cooler and continued to drive to work, however the engine didn't get cooler as I reached higher speeds like it used to it would just heat up and stay hot. So I pulled over, repeated the process until I got to work. I did notice both radiator fans were running, as I thought it was a fan issue
Based off of what I've searched it seems some of the possible issues include air in the radiator, bad radiator and/or thermostat, blown head gasket, or the radiator is out of coolant
Any ideas as to, What the problem is? How to fix the problem? How to get the car home in one piece to fix it without getting a tow?

2010 Honda Civic SRS light on?

The cars passenger and driver air bags light is on. And i have no idea why they are on. They don't respond if a person is sitting on the passenger seat or the driver seat.

Is this a good deal? Maybe too good to be true? Also, what should I look for when checking out this car?

I'm looking to buy a car. I looked on Craigslist and saw someone selling a 1999 Honda Civic for $1,800. The engine and transmission have 55,000 miles and the body has 211,000. It is an automatic, has working a/c, and (they claim) has a good interior and exterior. There are a few cracks in the case for the manifold. Is this a good deal? Is the deal so good that I should be concerned that there's something I'm missing? What should I be looking for when I check out the car out? This is my first time buying a car and would like as much help as I can get. (Not only is this my first car, but also I know very little about cars, so please use language I can understand or explain the language that might perplex me.

Will I be able to afford this car?

So if the Honda Civic Type R comes to the US I really want to purchase it. I'm 18 and am going into a job where I might be making $70,000 a year. The cars gonna cost about $40,000. Is that an unreasonable amount for my yearly pay? I Really want the car. If it even comes to North America.

Rough idle, can't tell what's causing it?

First off I drive a 1997 Honda Civic EX sedan with 171k miles on it. When I turn on the car, the idle is pretty rough and makes the car shake a bit. When I switch on the A/C it just makes it worse. When I'm driving on a hot day it's strange aswell. When I give it gas (like when the light turns green) the RPM needles bounces a lot as it's increasing. Either that or it takes forever for the car to pick up speed. I googled it a bunch of times and I got too many what ifs. I figured I come here and tell what exactly going on. Anyways thanks in advance!

3 of my cars are Shutting Down Randomly?

I have 3 separate cars Mazda 6 2005, VW Jetta 2006, Honda Civic 2005 LX. All have the same problem they shut off randomly. I changed the fuel pump on both the Civic and the Mazda and it made them work for a little bit but then the problem occurred again. I replaced the spark plugs on the Mazda and it worked for about 1 drive about 2 miles long, then I tried running it again and it just kept shutting off. Need help as soon as possible. I really don't think its a fuel pump, or the spark plugs, I also tested the connections to the spark plugs to see if they were delivering spark and they all were.

1995 Honda Civic LX: Engine shuts off randomly while driving?

Has shut off twice on me for no apparent reason, each time I have pulled to the side of the road and spent about 5 minutes turning the key/engine over without it starting. Lights and radio all working while I'm trying to start the engine so doesn't seem to be the battery. When I'm turning the key the engine and battery lights come on (also right when the car dies) then once the car starts again they turn off. I have had trouble a handful of times in the past few weeks starting my car, the same sequence happens, turn engine over a couple times, lights come on, but eventually starts. Just in the last two days (when I didn't have trouble starting engine at all) did the engine shut off on me after about 15 minutes of driving.

Anyone with tips, or ideas as to what on earth this is would be greatly appreciated! I'm a Uni student with limited funds to keep putting into this car, but I love it, so must treat her right.
