Is buying a non certified used car worth it?

Recently I have been car shopping and have been looking a many different vehicles. I have done some research on my own but wanted to get some other opinions on this. If it matters the car I have been looking at is the 10th generation Honda Civic EX-T trim. Would it be worth to extra money in the lon run if I try to find one that is certified pre owned?

Should I fix up this car or re-sell it in this situation?

So I bought a used 15 year old Honda Civic with 130,000 miles on it. I paid $1700 for it. However I found out from the mechanic it will cost another 2500 to fix up all the brakes and lights to make it drivable and good. However the ac and radio still won't work. Or should I sell it for 600 dollars to the mechanic and lose $1100 dollars. I know I made an error. But what should I do?

My 2010 honda civic's armrest is broken. It's not the latch that locks the armrest, but it's the hinge that makes it go up and down?

The entire back hinge of the armrest broke off so now the back of it is exposed which is a safety hazard and just looks terrible. I want to get it fixed, but I have no idea if it can be fixed or where to take it. If anyone could give me any ideas on what kind of shop could fix this for me that would be great. I feel like I'm a burden being a girl who calls around town all of the time trying to get car issues fixed because I don't know exactly who specializes in these things.

What can be the best way to fix CEL?

I have a honda civic 2005 automatic. I'm trying to fix it to pass the smog test but the CEL comes on. I took it to Autozone to see what code it is. It turned out to be P0741. I looked it up and it has to do with torque converter. Now, a friend offered to take my car to his mechanic and the guy said it has to replace 3 sensors. I don't know what to believe. The car works perfectly fine.

How much does a key replacement cost from the dealership?

My Honda Civic 2010 car key is very worn out, and the panic button doesn't work anymore. I know you can go to a local locksmith for cheaper and so, but I just was wondering the exact price of getting a whole new key right from the Honda dealership.

Honda Civic Manual single clunk when pressing on gas and letting go?

I think I have an issue, I have a manual Honda Civic 2010. I noticed that when I'm already in gear, like already switched to second for example and I'm cruising just say from 22mph and then naturally slows down to 19mph so I press the gas a little to go back to 22 I hear a single like clunk noise and as soon as I let go of the gas I hear another clunk. It's mostly just on gears one and two that happens. Any idea what's wrong? Haha
