I'm moving to New York City but I have a year left on my car lease. Is there any way out?

I have a Honda Civic leased through Honda Financial Services and there are 11 months left on my lease. HFS apparently does not allow Lease Swapping (a common solution for this type of problem). It looks like I will have to pay the remaining monthly payments I owe to Honda one way or another… Is there any alternative to this? I have no need for a car in NYC and I'm in California now. The car is in pristine condition and pacing about 6 or 7k under mileage. Anyone know of a way out?

2008 Honda Civic possible transmission issue?

All of a sudden today my car wouldn't start at first, then on a 2nd attempt it started (with difficulty). It also has the check engine light on and the D (drive indicator on dash) has a flashing light next to it. I keep reading this is due to a transmission problem. Possible low fluid? But does transmission have anything to do with the trouble starting? The car was fine a few days ago when I drove it last.

Should i get this car or wait?

My 94 honda civic died of me and i got rid of it for 500 bucks. I got approved for a 2011 kia soul. 50K miles from carmax. I don't want ANY other car but the soul. I really want this car but i'm trying to see if i can afford it. 362 a month for 72 months warranty included, and 135 for insurance. I make between 800-1100 a month. I know it's steep but i'm using the car to motivate me to find a better job or second job. I've been car shopping for a better apr rate but so far carmax has the best (15 percent) due to my credit. I also have 2 bills. Phone bill and gym membership.

Semi-automatic car gears?

I have a 98' honda civic with a semi automatic transmission. For drive, there's a D4, D3, and 2.

I've heard multiple things from different people on how a car like this should be driven.

Most of the time, on a regular 40 mph road, I drive in D3. I use D4 when on the highway, and 2 when on roads 30 or slower. (and some people have told me this is how it should be driven)

However, I've also been told that I should keep it in D4 at all times.

I can't seem to find the manual for my specific car online anywhere.

What's the best way to drive my car to get the best gas efficiency and have the least wear and tear on it?

Flywheel energy storage vehicles?

I intend on perusing a small project that involves stripping and converting my old 2004 Honda civic into an electric car. An electric car that will also be completely plastered in flexible solar panels. I hope to produce a car that get me around locally, nothing really long distance tbh.

But i'm not sure what would be the best form of energy storage?

Traditional battery's or flywheels? Or even a mixture?

I know flywheels will be considerably more of a challenge but i have always liked them as a type of energy storage.

Basically what i'm asking is that is it a good idea to even attempt to put a flywheel into a car.
Is the efficiency good compared to battery's?

Any advice would be appreciated.

00 Honda civic lx overheating?

Ok I have been having a overheating nightmare. So I had replaced the radiator, all hoses, thermostat, timing belt, both fans work and oil at poper level and cooling system bled. So after when that was done my overheating issue went away but after letting it sit for about a month and a half, my overheating issue came back. I'm very frustrated with this and would appreciate your opinion on this

Twin turbo 300zx a good car?

I'm looking for something reliable and fast… I've had my eye on a honda civic si but was interested in this car they want 6500 and it pushes 420hp. Would I be wasting my money? It has 200k miles but the engine is freshly rebuilt

Honda Civic 06-11 HID conversion kit or replace ballast?

Hi have a 2006 Honda Civic Sport model which came with HID headlights as standard. Honda have diagnosed the problem as a ballast issue and quoted £400 fitted to rectify this.

I was wondering if it would be worth just swapping the whole unit out for a new HID conversion kit such as this one:

http://www.hidkits.co.uk/d2r-35w-xenon-hid-conversion-kits.html

Anyone done this before or know any issues that can result from doing this? Or if anyone has a better idea than this?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Added (1). Sorry forgot to mention… Its a problem with passenger side light, I have checked fuses and swapped bulbs to check they both work aswel.
