Why does my 2008 Honda Civic radio keep turning off?

I have a 2008 Honda Civic. When I'm either using the radio or listening to my ipod on the auxilary it will do one the following randomly at different times.

a) It will randomly shut off, pressing the power button does not turn it back on
b) if I'm using the auxilary input it will randomly begin to switch to the radio, then proceed to switch between am and fm
c) Make random cracking sounds when there's no music playing

Sometimes the radio works fine for hours, other times it constantly does this. I noticed if I turn the car off then back on it seems to sometimes solve the problem for awhile but sometimes it does not.

Is there anything I can do myself to fix this?

Have you ever seen a riced up European car before?

All i see is riced up American and Japanese cars. I haven't seen a BMW or even a Golf with ridiculous decorations. That's why I love European cars.

If you don't know what a ricer is, it's usually a cheap car (Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cavalier, Dodge Neon, Toyota Corolla etc) with cheap mostly exterior modifications that do little to none improvements to it's performance. Not to be confused with tuners

I think the connection between my catalytic converter and exhaust is broken?

I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy, manual. While driving home from college i stopped at a rest stop to use the bathroom and when i started the car back up again it was insanely loud… Last time this happened they said it was the connection between the catalytic converter and the exhaust, they said the parts themselves were fine it was just the connection. I'm in a financial bind and my stepdad is a pretty good mechanic though that's not what he does for a living, but considering he literally built himself a honda civic all from parts i'd say he could fix what ever is wrong. My question is how do i fix it and is there a way to just fix the connection without having to replace the converter or exhaust since they are both perfectly in tact, also quick fact, there was nothing that forced the connection to break, no bump or scraping the bottom of the car or anything like that. How would I fix this?

What is this older racing simulator called?

I remember playing this racing simulator on the PC somewhere around 2009-2011 where the cars had real physics and even tires physics and heat simulation in regards to traction.
The cars in the game were older vehicles from the 1980s or so and one of them was a 198-something RX-7 that looked like this: What is this older racing simulator called
The other car was a hatchback Honda Civic which was again a 198-something year like this:

These were the only two cars available because you had to buy the other I believe.
The name that keeps popping into my head is Project X racing simulator but it's honestly just a guess.
This game was VERY low graphics requirements and I was able to run it on this:

I did add 1GB of RAM to this computer though just fyi.

Added (1). I forgot to mention that in the game you had to actually start the car, hit a button to turn key, and you could use the clutch just like IRL like if you let it go too fast it stalls. There was an option for setting the keyboard keys as up shift and down shift and for the clutch.
You could also move your head around the interior of the car and roll down the windows, turn on the headlights, etc. I just found another game that might be it called Rfactor.

Added (2). I found the name of the game! It's called Live for speed… Lol I would never have guessed since it's close in name to Need for speed.

Honda civic ep2 Sport. Wire engine management light to abs?

Basically the abs light is being stuborn even after replacing the sensor that was faulty. It went off at first but then has come back on shorty after. Need to pass the MOT and was just wondering which wires are the engine management and abs that go into the dash so I could maybe wire them together?

Why does my brake light not work when I apply my brakes?

I drive a 00 honda civic DX coupe. When I turn on my left signal and don't stop on the brakes the signal is fine but when I put pressure on the brakes while the signal is on my turn signal won't flash. While I'm driving without the turn signal on when I brake the turn signal lights up dimly on my dash. The right turn signal works perfect. What could be the problem can someone give me a step by step on how to fix it or a link on how to fix it. I don't have money to go to a shop ATM so I would rather do this myself.

Does accidentally going into 1st gear when going 30 MPH damage engine?

I just had manual transmission rebuilt and clutch replaced in 1989 Honda Civic. After exiting the freeway, I started from a stop light, traveling at 30 MPH in 2nd gear. I had trouble shifting into 3rd gear, I thought I had it & when I disengaged the clutch, the engine revved up extremely high. I was in 1st gear! I know this is bad but I was learning my new properly functioning tranny. I immediately put in in neutral, slowed down to 15 MPH and shifted onto 2nd. This happened twice until I learned the feel of the new clutch & transmission. The car is leaking oil. I believe I busted a gasket. Would this cause a lot of damage to the engine or transmission? Car sounds okay & feels okay. Any advice would be much appreciated.
