My 2007 Honda Civic Lx can't shift from park to neutral?
After having it on jacks with the parking brake on stilts I rolled it out of my driveway in neutral and put it into park and now it won't come out of park.

I'm noticing either one of the following issues only during the cold temp and only during morning/ evening after 8-9 hrs parking
1) Mild roller noise - Noticeable/intensity increases very clearly while applying acceleration - Goes away after 2 mins of driving - once again only during cold temp especially started noticing this only this winter
2) When I start the car after a long parking / especially during cold temp and rainy day - as soon as I start the car I can hear the drive belt squeak noise which goes away within 5 secs
I got a quote from two places to replace the serpentine belt and belt tensioner(set). Honda dealer - $360 Napa - $300. Both dealer and napa advised me that since I'm only noticing this only during cold temp asked me to wait until the sound becomes very intense - they suggested this might be a winter/cold temp related thing and will go away.
Based on the above desc please suggest me what to do? Do I need to replace this immediately or how serious is this?
I leased a Honda Civic and only have so many miles on it. I was told by a friend that also has the same car but older model leased that if I go over my miles I have the option of buying the car instead of paying for the overage fees. Is this true? Because if it is I plan on buying the car either way so why should I stress my miles especially when I have so little.
The honda has 134k for $3,500 and the Acura is a 4 cylinder with 166k for $3,500. I don't know which one to choose. Any suggestions? And why or why not you chose that car.
As title above states. Its for a Honda Civic 1.4 2002

When I'm sitting idle my car sputters like it wants to shut off. I changed the plugs and wires and distributer. Cap and everything. It worked for a month then it started again. I then changed it all again and it did the same,… ( runs for a month and starts sputtering) Could it be a bad fuel filter or pump? Or would I need to change the ignition coil? I would like to start small before I take it in for something big… The check engine light came on and the test said it is a misfire in cylinder #2 as well… Please help me
I have a 1995 Honda Beat PP1 and I want to swap in a 5-speed from a Civic or Integra and I was wondering if a gearbox made for a FWD car would hook up correctly with a Mid-Engine car like mine.
I'm supposed to be going out of town on Friday morning (in 1 day) to Anaheim. It is about a 4 - 4 1/2 hour drive from where I live. I have 17 in. Rims with low profile tires on my car but the tread is pretty low on the tires. The tread is probably at about 2/32 or a little lower. There's still a little tread (tires are not completely bald) but I was just wondering if I would be able travel there and back without having a problem with the tires (as far as with the tread). I have heard as long as your not driving in rain I should be fine but I want some more input to see what other people think.
Car is a 2006 Honda Civic by the way.
Ok so my question is how can I do a non vtec to vtec conversion? I have a 97 honda civic dx, it has a d16y7 non vtec engine in it. I know it's sad lol but I want to do a vtec conversion, I've heard that I can because of the d16y8 that's originally in the ex model, here's the thing, I've done some research and all I've scrapped so far is that because of the d16y8 head being vtec I can take it from an ex model and stick onto my engine block and remove the y7 and then I'd have the vtec head but I'd also have to replace my ecu component, which I'm still a noob about that and wth it does o.O but I just need to ask the public, no stupid answers please, I need a step by step instruction on how to do it, I'd really appreciate it, thank you for taking out the time to read my question, have a good day.
