Upgrade my car or trade it in?

I'm currently driving a Honda Civic 2016 Lx, and I recently got really into modification on cars. If I do decide to buy the car right after my leash, should I take the time to mod it out, like adding new exhaust, wheel, hid lighting, or just save up just to buy a kinda of a sport car like Lexus, vw, or even a old wrx and modify those? I'm just looking for opinion.

Loud noise in the morning. Is this serious?

When I start my car in the morning there's a loud noise coming from under the hood. Only way I can describe the noise is like if you were to put a paper sheet in a fan. Only happens in the morning for a minute or so.

This is a newer Honda Civic with 70k miles. Only services done on car are oil/filter changes.

Added (1). Not a screech. More like chain rattling. Only happens in morning.

Should I just buy a Honda civic hatchback LX CVT or lease it?

It's pretty inexpensive compared to other cars, but I don't know about wanting to drive it for a long time.

How much am I "losing" compared to buying if I lease it? It's around $2000 down and $180~ a month for 36 months + return fee, etc. If I do end up purchasing it at the end of the lease contract, I wouldn t lose as much right?

Added (1). If I do buy I have $4000 for the down and the APR is 2.7-2.99%.

My 2003 Honda Civic 1.7L 4 cyl has some performance issues?

The symptoms I'm experiencing are sputtering, basically it almost sounds like an 80s vehicle… It idles rough, and the temperature gauge also goes up during idle for an extended period of time… Yes I just had my cooling system topped off. As far as rough idling, it only idles rough. Once I start driving it seems to dissipate and drive like normal. I've gotten several opinions so far. Some say spark plugs, some say fuel filter, some say injectors, or could it possibly be the idle control valve? I'm so confused what it could be. I just want to get to the bottom of this. Anyone have any ideas?

Best compact hatchback? Honda Civic Mazda 3 or Subaru Impreza?

So I'm still driving my parents hand me down 2003 Camry but I'm thinking about buying a new car soon. I like hatchbacks and think I've narrowed my search down to this 3. Was wondering about the advantages and disadvantages of each and which is the best overall. I'm still open to other suggestions.

Did they give me a right estimate for repairs in my car?

I have a Honda Civic 2005 coupe… And the guy said that imma need a new thermostat, head gasket, and raidiator and it came out to 1,800. I looked up the parts and all together it's less than 500. Are they charging over 1,000 for just labor?
