Passenger airbag off?
My mom hit my 2011 Honda Civic on the rear bumber. It was just a small scratch but since then the Passenger Air Bag off light has been on. Is there a way to fix it or should I take it to be repaired?
Added (1). My bad, it said Side Airbag not passenger.
@Gary it's a small garage and it was an accident no fraud, no insurance claim is being made and it's a small dent.
Why would your mom hit it? Seems like insurance fraud to me.

Is there a key to turn the passenger air bag on and off?
You can try;
Disconnecting the battery, removing the 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor, then tilt the seat back and squeeze and slightly twist the electrical connections under there, bolt the seats back, reconnect the battery and see if the light goes out. Sometimes those connections loose their perfect connection and that causes the light to go on.
If no joy after that, get the car scanned at a shop to isolate where the problem is.

- Is urgent airbag recall a scam? I've been getting these flyers nonstop for almost 2 years. Today I called my local Honda dealer to make an appointment apparently my car has 4 recalls to be repaired. However, I was a little uneasy about it since it's a free repair and who knows what they'd do with my car. The cs representative on the phone scheduled the appointment for tomorrow at 10pm a driver will come pick up my car and said will be ready next day. is this a normal process or scam?

I mistakenly left both my front windows rolled down in my 2012 Honda Civic hybrid during a rainstorm and now the "passenger airbag off" light is on, even though nobody (and nothing) is sitting in the passenger seat. The front portion of my car got pretty wet by the time I realized it (I d guess about 20-30mins of straight heavy downpour). What gives?

- How to remove red airbag icon from 2008 Honda Civic? I recently bought a 2008 Honda Civic (Salvage) & up till now, it has worked really good. The only bad thing that it has is that the red airbag icon won't turn off & it's really starting to bug me. How can I turn it off? Can a mechanic do it? Or how about the dealership? Any help would be useful.
