Price to have wheel locks removed and replaced at mechanic (W/O key)?

I bought my car used and it did not have the key to remove the wheel locks. I bought new wheel locks at the honda dealership for my 2012 honda civic. I had my car inspection done today and asked if they were able to remove my current wheel locks and replace them with the ones i have purchased. What is the typical cost of labor to have these wheel locks removed and replaced? I was told they have a particular tool used to remove the wheel locks when there's no key but i did not ask for the price.
wondering what i should expect to pay?

You should expect to pay whatever the shop doing the work charges.

Why haven't you already asked two or three of them directly?

Search through the whole car very carefully, trunk, tire well, cubby holes everywhere, doors, glove box, console, under the seats, ash trays. No luck, go to a good tire store, they should have the tool and be a lot cheaper than the dealer.
Then return the locks you bought, just have the tire store put on some cheap replacement nuts. Those wheel locks are a PITA and nobody steals stock wheels.

The tool used is a special knurled socket made for removing rounded off nuts. You hammer them onto the wheel lock and remove them with a breaker bar. MATCO and Snap On sell them so if you see a tool truck at a car repair place go look for the tool man.
They are more then happy to sell tools.
We charged an hour labor at the dealer.

They can charge you what they like as you failed to ask the price. Fingers crossed.

They'd happily tell you. The price varies by shop. Tire shops do this more often and may charge less than the dealer. Go back to them and ask.
