Purchasing an Infiniti fx35?

Selling my honda civic 1997 very clean inside and out a few extras 110 k miles

Original motor

Buying an Infiniti 2003 fx35. I have read great things about this suv. You think this is a good idea?

Can you keep your civic while purchasing the FX35? Having a reliable car on hand is awesome.

Better make sure there are records of having the oil changed every 3,000 miles! If the cam advance solenoids and actuators get tarnished the motor will start throwing codes and it will cost thousands to fix!

  • Infiniti QX60, Acura MDX, or Honda Pilot? My dad might have to move because of his job and my grandma and aunt would be moving in with us (I'm 17 and an only child) making there be five of us and basically having a SUV would be necessary. Would a used 2014 Infiniti QX60 (CPO with 29k miles), 2015 Acura MDX (non-CPO), or new 2017 Honda Pilot be best? BTW the Acura has 23k miles.
  • Purchasing Scooter Insurance? Hypothetically-- Can one purchase Insurance for a motorized scooter (Vespas, Honda Activa… 125cc,150cc) with a Class C Driver s License? Or, does one must attain a M1 License to buy insurance? This is for California inquiry. So, thanks to anyone who could help.
  • Is it odd to trade in an Infiniti g35 for a vehicle like a Mazda cx-5? I drove a Mazda CX-5 for a little while and I liked it. Nice and high up, plenty of cargo capacity, and fun zippy handling that reminded me of an old Honda that I had a long time ago. While the G35 is much faster and probably corners better I still kind of preferred the handling and feel of the CX-5, and I prefer the features available in the CX-5 along with the spacious cargo capacity and the ride height. So is it odd if I were to sell my g35 and get a Mazda CX-5?
  • How do I get license plates and registration after purchasing a car from the dealership? I bought a "certified used" Honda from a honda dealership in North Carolina. They gave me a slip of paper that says 30 day temporary marker receipt and a paper tag. I paid for the tax and tag so I assume they are handling this. But do I need to pay them a visit to pick up my tag? How does this work. It wasn't explained well. Any advice is appreciated. I haven't calle them yet because I want to be a bit more educated so I don't sound stupid when I call.
