Rear window 2001 honda civic rear windows only go down 3/4 way down?

My brother just bought a 2015 honda crv and his rear windows only go down 3/4 way down. Is this the way honda makes its cars where rear windows only go down 3/ way down electric. Why do they do this? Do other car makers make cars that rear windows don't go down all the way or is it honda. Why does honda do this?

Usually it's because they shortened the chassis.

When they don't go down all the way it's generally because there isn't enough room in the door for the glass. The styling is deemed more important than the window's ability to go all the way down.

Look at the shape of the door, there isn't space for it to go down fully because of the rear wheel arch.

Get a 2 door and avoid the problem completely! Lol
