Second car loan or save up?
I recently lost my car in an accident and it resulted in being totaled. I NEED another car as soon as possible! I have no idea which road to take, as there are many. Are there any experts out there? I currently am still paying off the car loan of my most recent Honda Civic. Would it be a bad idea to get a second loan somewhere else for a different car but maybe just get a lower grade car? Or would it be better to save up for a decent old used car.
Also, how cheap is TOO cheap to buy for any car? I have been recently looking at Craigslist and Cars.com

- Will a car dealership work with me if I'm gonna lease a new car, while trading in the car I have, which has an outstanding loan against it? The car I have now has a loan against it which is worth more than the trade in value of the car by about $5000. Only thing I hate is the mpg. I have a part time job and in high school as a sophomore. Should I start to save up for a car (mazda, scion, honda) with much better mpg or just stick with the truck? It gets about 15 mpg. I was looking to get a a car around 5k.
