Should I do uber/lyft to pay a lease payment on a Car?

Ok just wanted to know based on my circumstances if it's a good idea. Just a little background I make about 85k a year at my full time job and I have a 400 dollar a month lease on one car and a paid off daily driver that is having some issues so I'm looking to lease another car as a replacement daily driver. I'm looking at possibly getting into a 2017 civic that my buddy who works for Honda can get me into for around 140 a month with very minimal down. I don't care about going over mileage so that s not a valid reason for me not to try uber. Now back to the question can I drive for uber a few times a week maybe like Friday and Saturday night for a few hours and effectively pay off most of if not all of the 140 a month for the car lease? And if not then should I just not waste my time and just enjoy my Friday nights and my new daily driver?

You need to do uber without buying another car.

You make more than I ever have in my life and I'm a millionaire.

You clearly have a spending problem. Spending more isn't the answer.

Unless there's a second person on the lease, a lender will not approve one person for a second lease/auto loan. It's not going to happen. Also, if you make $85,000 per year, just buy a beater. There's no need to lease a car, work a menial job to pay for the leased car, just to have a second car. That makes no sense.

Honda is showing several lease specials, but none of them will get you anywhere close to what your buddy is claiming. They're showing a Civic LX for $179 per month with $2599 down, Keep in mind that the payment you see is NOT including tax, title, and license. Assuming the industry-wide average of $30 for every $1000 financed on a lease, assume an extra $60 on your payment just for fees. If you're doing "minimal" money down, then account for that as well. For instance, if you put only $1000 down, then assume an additional $45 on your payment. That $175, plus fees and $1000 down is now $280 per month.

Why would someone who makes 85K a year even think about driving for Uber? Strange.

I wouldn't.
I don't like people that much to give up my free time like that.

" I don't care about going over mileage" - This right here pretty much told me you have NO idea what you're talking about.

And yes, I know that "didn't answer your question" either.

Obvious troll is obvious.

This is insane.
