Added (1). Both are pretty low mileage and pretty well cared for. The non hybrid Civic gets about 32 mpg and the Prius gets about 50 mpg. I will be driving this car for Uber. I can pay cash for either one.

Anything but a Prius.
As an Uber driver myself I would go for the Prius and the better gas mileage. Gas is our number 1 expense, so the Prius would give you a higher profit.
