Should I get a coupe or sedan?

This will be my third car. I'm 21 (I get bored with cars easily). My first was a 4 door hatchback (02 Focus), my second was a 4 door mid sized sedan (09 Avenger) (can't wait to get rid of it!). I'm looking at my first new car to purchase though and I can't decide if I want a coupe or sedan. It's a Honda Civic. I'm thinking if I buy it I'm definitely getting one with a sunroof and keeping it for more than 2 years. Right now I'm single, no kids, and don't have many friends. When my old high school friends are in town they usually pile in my car but that's about the most action my back seat has. I was also thinking that if I'm keeping this car it's possible for me to meet someone and have kids in the length I want to keep the car. One thing for sure is I'm paying the car loan off so that could be 6 years and a lot can change.

Should I get a coupe or sedan?

Coupe is really cramped in the back seat of the new civics. That being said. If it's just you and you occasionally have friends over and carpool you should be fine. No need for 2 extra doors when it's just you.

Sedan. The front doors of a 4-door are shorter than coupe doors, which makes the car easier to get in and out of, especially in a crowded parking lot. Plus, even if you don't put people in the back seat, its easier to get groceries & stuff like that in and out of the back seat. I currently drive a 1996 T-Bird, which is a coupe. My previous car was a 2004 Grand Marquis sedan. The only thing I don't like about the T-Bird is that it's a 2-door. It's a pain living with a 2-door car sometimes.

Now, if you like climbing in your car Dukes of Hazzard style, get a coupe. The windows are wider and you will fit in easier.

I have a 2003 Honda civic ex coupe and my family gets in easy and out and they still fit all adults and we lean the seats back and they are fine. Let me tell you believe it or not a honda coupe have more space than a mustang or T-bird

Coupe is better
