Should I have bought this car?
At 48 I have no vehicle and I have no license. I have money to pay the fine off for my license and my sister in Atlanta (I live in Chicago) has a free car for me a 2009 Honda Civic 4 door 20k miles. My sister told me just have my license and receipts the car is mines. But I want a car now damn it so a purchased a 2002 dodge intrepid 100k from a friend of a friend. It only cost me $1200.00. My boyfriend is pissed at me because I bought the car. He said it was stupid I should've bought it from my sister not a person I barely know but I'm tired of riding my bike and taking the bus. I worked hard for my money and I deserve this. Plus I still don't have my license I have to pay the fine.
You would be better off and much happier with the free Honda your sister would have given you. A Dodge Intrepid was a lousy car even when new. At 48, you need to get your life in order, you are a train wreck.
If you get caught with out a license and still owing the fine you will be in sooo much more trouble than you are now. Csr won't do you any good in jail.

I agree with your boyfriend. Dodges are terrible cars.
Forty eight, no license and no brains. You had a free car but you bought a worn out pos dodge. If you ever get your license, you'll be walking anyhow.
The Honda would have been a way better choice.
When you apply for a registration and license plate, order a "vanity" plate that says IMNIDIOT on it.
You can't drive the car until you pay your fine(s), get liability insurance and get your license reinstated. If you are caught, your car will be impounded and that $1200 car will cost you an additional $800-$1000 to get it back. You weren't very smart with this purchase.
