Car door lock I press the switch and I hear clicking but there's no response far as locking or unlocking
Is it the door lock actuator or door lock relay? I aiming towards the door lock actuator. If it is do that mean that I have to get fixed on both sides. I only have one door switch. I have 2001 Honda civic hx
Remove the door panels and find out if the actuator cables or rods has come loose or if the actuators are moving.
- My rear lights don't come on when light switch its turn on. They only turn on when i press the brake pedal? (same with the cluster assmbly) on my 1992 honda civic 4 door. All bulbs are good. Just replaced all fuses.
- Do you have a newer Honda and use the Walk-Away Door Lock Feature? I have a 2018 Civic Touring and I use the very handy walk-away door lock feature but half of the time I get seven quick beeps that means it didn't work. My son has the same problem with his 2017 Civic Touring. Have any of you good folks experienced this problem? The dealer's service people are unfamiliar with this feature and have no idea how to address my problem. I suspect a lot of people don't even know it exists.
- Can i get a Door Kit for a 2 door car for my 4 door? I wanna get a lambo door kit for my 2013 honda civic but i have a four door and the one they have is for a two door… So would getting the kit and just using it on the front two doors work?
- Bought a 2006 Honda Civic ex about a month ago, the check engine light came on and it was throwing code p0133 o2 sensor slow response? Bank 1 sensor 1. Now I checked again and it's a P0171 code as we'll System Too Lean Bank 1 . My friend looked at it and said it's my oxygen sensor. Could that be the reason, and is that way it threw the other code as well? The car runs pretty good, does guzzle has a little.
