Stereo system on my 2007 honda civic has no power?
I had subs in my car and I was taking them out so that I could sell it and ever since them my stereo system hasn't worked. I can't listen to the radio, or a cd. It also doesn't say 'welcome' or show the time. All the other lights on my dashboard work just fine, except for those. At first I thought it was something pertaining to a code, but I don't think that's it. Any ideas?
Check your fuse.
You might have created a short in the wiring when you removed the sub. Check your wiring.

- Car stereo not getting power? The stereo in my 2000 honda civic ex was acting up. Turning off randomly and turning on randomly. So I bought a new one thinking the issue was with the stereo it's self. Now with the new radio installed and all the wires aligned and ground hooked to the proper bolt it receives no power at all. I checked the fuse and it's fine. So any ideas on what the issue is would be great.
