Thinking about buying a 2004 honda civic hybrid I don't know much about hybrids. Do the batteries go bad I see they would cost a fortune?

No to used hybrids. The batteries are indeed expensive and nobody has a clue on how to fix them when they break except the dealers.
Hi so this is one you should leave well alone as it will now be in the throws of it's death.
Honda did not have the spectacular success Toyota has had with hybrid systems. The Civic Hybrid is the poster child for battery problems. As the source points out, "The average service life of the Honda Civic IMA battery in the Honda Civic Hybrids is only about seven years, and in some cases much less. By comparison, the high voltage hybrid battery in the Toyota Prius has proved to be extremely durable and trouble-free."
- 1977 Honda GL1000, selling, don't know how much? I'm trading my "ruckus clone" that is basically a project that failed horribly on my end. Said he will trade his 1977 Honda GL1000 for my scooter. He said that the only problem with the GL1000 is that it needs the carbs cleaned… Which isn't really much of a problem, easy solve. But if thats the real case, not much rust, only needs the carbs cleaned, how much could I sell this bike for… Depending if I don't fall in love with it and keep it for myself.
- Was thinking about buying a honda civic ep3 type r and was wondering what should I look out for? I would like some honest help Like when they start having problems Do any parts get stuffed because of **** owners When the engine starts to die What km should I look at
- Thinking of buying a 2019 honda civic coupe but i'm worried how reliable the cvt transmission is? I want to buy a basic honda civic coupe. I want the 2 door because i think it looks cute. But i'm worried how relaible is that cvt transmssion? I want to last atleast 150k miles?
- Roughly how much could I get from selling my hybrid car with a dead hybrid battery? I have a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid with about 175k miles. I'm the second owner and there's nothing else wrong with it besides the dead hybrid battery. The battery is very expensive to replace and it's honestly just more of a financially smart decision to sell it rather than spending about 2,000 on a new battery. I just want to know what is a decent price to let it go for considering the hybrid battery is dead ultimately making it useless until replaced.
