Twin turbo 300zx a good car?
I'm looking for something reliable and fast… I've had my eye on a honda civic si but was interested in this car they want 6500 and it pushes 420hp. Would I be wasting my money? It has 200k miles but the engine is freshly rebuilt
Absolutely not. Unless you're a mechanic, an enthusiast, or just have a but load of money. Just think about it. $6500 for a heavily modified car, that's also a collectors model and one of the best Z cars ever made by Nissan. Pushing well above 300hp.
A properly maintained, highly modified car like that; especially with 420bhp should be upwards past $15,000.
Stick with the civic. You'll get Honda reliability and rediculous MPGs for a sport compact. 27-32 mpg when your not flogging it around in the VTEC range.
I don't like them personally, I expect the build quality/reliability would be decent but not top notch. My advice would be to go for an AudiTT; you should be able to get a nice one for 6500
- What should I go with? Single carburetor or twin? I'm trying to get my honda rebel ip and running but can't find another carburetor anywhere! Anywhere that has it assembled anyway. But on ebay, they have a surplus of twin carburetors for cheaper than the single. Should I get the twin? What differences will there be if I do?
- Turbo on my honda del sol? I got a 5 speed 93 del sol and i'm inlove with the sound cars with turbo make when people shift. That "pshh" sound like air or gas. Lol i don't know. But is it possible to get that on my delsol? And if so, what do i need to buy? Where to install? And what are the prices?
- What's the difference between an inline-four and a parallel twin? I'm essentially comparing the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Honda CBR650f that's coming to the US this summer. The Ninja is a parallel twin, whereas the CBR is an inline-four. Is there a big difference between the two, and if so, what would it be?
- I want to turbo charge my car? I have a 1988 Honda prelude 2.0s. I want to boost but don't know if it would be worth it. It has 235,00 miles and has just had regular maintence, nothing serious has happened to the engine and it still Ru s great. Any advice would be great.
