Used 2012 Honda Civic Coupe with 60,000 miles. Is it ok to buy?
I'm looking at a Certified Pre-owned Honda Civic Coupe. It's 2012 with 60k miles on it and Carfax said it averaged 22k miles per year. No accidents reported and only one owner. The price is good is $14,000 right now and I'll probably negotiate it down.
The main question: Is 60k too much on a 2.5 year old vehicle? Even if it's CPO?
It's generally a good car so go ahead. 22K a year is nothing to a newer model Honda, I've seen people put more than that. I myself put 30K miles a year on my Civic (which is a lot older than that) since i work far away.
I'd try to bring it down to at least $12K
It's a Honda, for chrissakes, and it is a certified one. Offer $13.
Firs off, Carfax doesn't show everything. If someone wanted to keep something off the books, it isn't very hard to pay cash & a lot of businesses don't report to Carfax either so it won't always show everything. If its Pre-Owned Certified, it will have a factory warranty at least. You may not haggle too much, usually they don't budge too much on prices
No, unless owner bought, or Honda is offering, the extended Honda Warranty that's transferable to you.
the original warranty could have expired @ 60k mi.
be sure the Honda warranty [not 3rd party warranty like AbcWarrrantiesLCC] is or is upgradeable to the bumper to bumper level and is not the powertrain/drivetrain level w/ all the exceptions.
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- 2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000? Is this a good deal? I need to buy a new car and today I got an offer on a 2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000. I'm a 19 year old girl and I know nothing about cars D: Are Honda Fits good cars? Should I buy this with so many miles already on it? Also, I like to travel. Will this car be safe to drive long distances?
- When should a 2012 Honda Civic need its transmission fluid changed, or serviced? The vehicle has 83,000 miles? Lots of highway driving for a three year old car. Drives perfectly, no problems, just trying to look ahead.
- Should I buy a 2008 honda civic ex-l that has 100000 miles or a honda civic lx that has 82k miles? The honda civic ex-l has only one owner and the honda civic lx is from a dealer. They're fairly the same price
