What are the most reliable Japanese car brands?

I just want to know what my options are. I currently drive a Honda Civic coupe and drove a Nissan Altima before that. Other than Toyota, Honda, and Nissan, what other non-luxury Japanese car brands are very reliable?

Ching chong pie

Mazda

Mazda is about it. I would rate them in order or reliability:
1. Toyota
2. Honda
3. Mazda
4. Nissan

Toyota and Honda are very close

Mazda and Subaru. I'd avoid Mitsubishi if I were you. They're not on the same level as other Japanese manufacturers.

Suzuki no longer sells cars in the US. I'm not sure if Isuzu is still in America or not.

I just bought a brand new Mazda last month. It was a close decision between that and the Subaru, but not needing AWD, I went with Mazda.

Anything except for Mitsubishi.

I'd put Mazda ahead of Nissan, and Subaru right behind Nissan.

Hi as you have named all the current best know makes they all have good records. Even a ford F series has been added to the list why well it has MAZDA engine and transmissions.

  • Which brands of cars are more reliable and less expensive to maintain? I have been driving American cars, Honda, Toyota and they're easy to find parts when something go wrong. I would like to buy a Volkswagen beetle or a European car. Like 2004 or 2003 Volkswagen beetle. If something go wrong, does it cost more to fix it? Is maintenance more expensive than a Honda or a Toyota yaris. I know the Honda and Toyota last forever after a few hundred thousand miles and they re still in excellent running condition with regular services. What do you guys think?
  • What's your most and least favorite car brands? State a specific model if you want. Favorite- 3 way tie between Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes. I have a Mercedes C320 and it's very reliable. I also own a Honda but I want to replace it with a BMW X5. I do hate a few of their cars such as the BMW X6 Least favorite- Dodge and Chrysler. Not impressed by their styling and build quality. I also hate Toyota, i know their cars are good but their cars just doesn't impress me
  • What's the most reliable low-cost car I can buy in the 2-4k pricerange? So, after several horrific car experiences with repairs and maintenance I simply couldnt afford to keep up with, I'm seeking suggestions for the most reliable car I can get in my price range of $2,000-$4,000 dollars. My initial thoughts were maybe A late 90s early 00s Honda with around 100k (or less?).
  • What is the most reliable used car one can get? Your 3 choices? I'm shopping for an inexpensive vehicle that I can use to run around for errands and groceries in an semi urban area. Something economical on gas and good and reliable. I was thinking Honda Civil? What is your thought on that?
