What can I do for my headlights on my 2008 Honda Civic?
I have a 2008 Honda Civic Coupe and whenever I turn on my regular headlights on, they are on but very dim. But when I turn on high beams, they are actually on where I can see. Would I need to get my headlights changed? Or is there a way to make them brighter? Any ideas?
Buy the headlight restoration kit by Meguiar's. It works pretty good.
Make sure your battery and alternator are in working order. If those are then possibly change the bulbs.
If the lenses are foggy sand them down with wet/dry 600 grit sandpaper and water. Then use 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and water. Dry with a towel or compressed air and then clean the lenses with rubbing alcohol. Use a clear lacquer spray paint to make them to make them clear again. 2 to 3 coats are needed.
