What car would be better for daily driving?
So my choices are a 2013 Ford focus st, Mitsubishi evo 8 (i don't care about how much it kills your back or how old it is), e90 328i, e90 335i, 2008+ mercedes c class, 2011+ ford mustang gt (because of the 5.0 coyote), mazda rx8 2005+ (obvious reasons their), honda civic si 2012+, 2010+ subaru wrx (not a sti). Let me know what you think, and any other cars that could be worthy are appreciated.
P.S. It has to be a manual
Anything that isn't too hard core on the list will be better for daily use, so any of the German cars mentioned with a 6 cylinder engine will probably be the best in terms of a decent powerband where power is everywhere. All these German cars are regular models, so there should be plenty of space for passengers and cargo. The suspension should be a bit stiff, but well balanced and comfortable. The Focus ST, WRX and Evo VIII's daily drivability will depend on how well the turbos were set up and how much you like the suspension set up, which should be a bit stiff. As these were all based off economy cars, so there should also be plenty of space for passengers and cargo. And for the naturally aspirated options with 8000 rpm red lines, such as the Civic and RX-8 (V8 fuel economy in return for 6 cylinder hp numbers and 4 cylinder torque numbers) it will depend on how much you like a car where the power gradually comes on and frequent shifting. If you don't mind this kind of car, you may want to look at a Toyobaru FRS/BRZ as well. In this category, the Civic is the only completely practical option. These cars, like the other ones, are on the stiff side and may be a bit uncomfortable. And as for the Mustang, it has lots of power everywhere in the powerband, but very limited practicality. A Camaro or Hyundai Genesis Coupe are alternatives in this class of vehicles.
NOT the RX8 for many reasons not to forget its engines life expectancy is around 60k.
Personally you have listed that many cars i guess you are a teenage lad dreaming.
Mercedes C Class. It's the most comfortable car to drive.
- What scooter is best for commuting in London on daily basis? 125cc vs 300cc? I like the Honda PCX 125 and also the Honda Forza 300. I do not know which one to buy. I wonder if 125cc is enough or if I should go for the 300cc. New or 2nd hand? I also have seen the Honda Forza 125 and I wonder if it is worth it. The PCX seems to be very good value for money (maintenance and running costs), however it is small size in comparison with the Forza 300 (obviously at a higher cost). Any suggestions?
- Is the Type R a good daily driver? My Honda dealer was offering a new 2019 Type R for about $36 000. He says if you drive it economically it can save gas, but there's also a sport/type r mode if you want to have fun. He says it has a 4 cylinder turbo engine. then my Nissan dealer was saying how I should get a Maxima instead. It is roomy, luxurious with a CVT, V6 producing 300 horsepower. It does use a little more gas than the Type R.
- Bought a car leased. After driving it around I do not like it. Would I lose a lot of money? Details below? Got Honda CRV about market price. However, also got a long term loan with extended warranty. Assuming I trade it back in a month later after I got it would I lose money in the warranty and trade down value?
