What is leaking from my 2015 Honda Civic? - 1
I live in Maryland and the weather is kinda cold. I went to the gym and came back to check two hours later a water like liquid (clear) puddle was under my car. I did have the heat on in my car. What could this clear liquid be?
Did you use the defrosters? It sounds exactly like condensation from moisture that is draining. This is normal. There are no clear fluids used in that car. Nothing to worry about.
New cars air conditioning system are fitted with drip holes to allow the car to dehumidify it's self without the need for the air conditioning system to be serviced to drain any fluids. This might be the pool of water you have seen, it should look similar to what is shown in the photo.
Double check the cars dashboard for any warning lights, and if the vehicle is fitted with any diagnostic systems check these too. If still in doubt take your car to any Honda dealership and allow them to double check the vehicle over.
