What is the best used sporty car under $9k?
I'm looking at buying a car for $9k or less after the repair bills on my old car started to add up. I want something sporty (not actually a sports car since the insurance rate will skyrocket with this category), but also want to keep fuel economy and reliability in mind. The two models I have been looking at are a 2006-2008 Mazda3 and a 2006-2008 Honda Civic Si. Are there any other car models comparable to these that are both powerful/fun-to-drive and at least relatively low-cost to own?
Mazda 3
Honda Civic
Scion Tc
Subaru WRX
Mazda RX-8
Get a 1998 lincoln mark viii. Insurance is cheap because its a lincoln means smart driver, not a speeder, considerable. Has 300 hp and its fast. They are on par with regular cars for repairs. Its more of a luxury car than a sports car. Its bigger than a mustang. You can find one unmolested with like 74k miles.
- What damage is possible from a construction cone riding under the front portion under the car? I was traveling doing about 55 mph and could not swerve to avoid hitting a construction cone. It hit under my car and dragged until I could pull over and pry it loose. I could not see too well under the car. I have a Honda Fit
- Which car will be the best option for a student and first car under 7k? I put my couple choose in the details box Nissan Altima, Nissan Maxima, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Kia Rio, Mazda 3, Hyundai Sonata or Elantra, Hyundai Accent I just need to know which will be the best?
- What is a great reliable used car for under 6000? I had a Honda civic but now it's total loss due to accident. This car never gave me any problems, only thing I ever change was oil and tires. Now I'm looking for a different car. Too many people mock honda cars, and I don't understand because they are good looking, cheap and last a really long time. I'm into small light weight, great on gas cars. Anything really… Any suggestion is great, so I can get some ideas and do my research.
- What cars have a sporty feel for under 15k? I really like the inside of the Honda civic si as far as the "race" feel. The speedometer are placed really cool and it has a really nice interior… The car doesn't have to be fast or even look cool. I just like the good inside feel. Its where I end up spending most of my time with the car anyway lol Honda civic si, scion tc, Lexus is250, Mazda 3, Subaru wrx?
