What is the quietest 3 cat back exhaust for a 2014 honda civic si?
What is the quietest 3" cat back exhaust for a 2014 honda civic si?
If you install a 3" exhaust on a Honda, you will lose every ounce of torque its got.A 150-200ci engine with single exhaust is capable of
100hp=2" exhaust pipe
150hp=2.25"
200hp=2.5"
A 200-250ci engine
150hp=2.25"
200hp=2.5"
250hp=2.5"
A 250-300ci engine
200hp=2.5"
250hp=2.5"
300hp=2.5"
So unless your Honda has an engine with more ci(cubic inches)than listed above, you don't need a 3" exhaust.1/4" larger than stock is plenty unless you're running a larger engine or twin turbos
Thanks for your response but that didn't answer my question.
- Why does my 2014 Civic Si have red honda badges on front and back and on steering wheel? I bought a new Honda Civic Si from the dealership and the guy said that it was one of 10,000 models of that year, it looks nice but i want to know how accurate this is. Why does it have red badges? And why does my engine cover look white instead of black like they are on other Si's? Please answer!
- What will waste more gas, Clogged Cat or Non Cat converter? Does a Honda civic waste more gas if the catalytic converter is clogged or a civic without a catalytic converter (pipe only)? Or what?
- What type of exhaust gasket should I use when fitting new exhaust? I would like to install new exhaust system on my car and was wondering if I use the flat oval shape gasket or round conical gasket or both? I'll be installing a backbox and centre pipe. It's a 1998 Honda Civic.
- What is better a 2014 Honda Civic or 2014 Toyota Corolla? I'm looking at these cars in terms of price and more "bang for your buck." Both seem interesting to me and I have yet to test drive them. The Honda Civic seems like it is the better car based on reviews but the newly redesigned Toyota Corolla looks better than previous versions and is slightly cheaper than the Civic. Which one should I consider looking towards? Please do not mention any other car, I'm only focused on these two at the moment.
