What kind of brake fluid does a 2 door honda civic dx use?

My car just sprung a brake fluid leak. I parked it far away from my house so I can't check myself.

If you have a leak, the fluid will continue to leak and the vehicle is unsafe to drive.

TOW, don't drive, the vehicle to your dealer or trusted garage to have the problem fixed before driving the car again.

It doesn't matter. DO NOT attempt to refill the reservoir and drive the car!

If you have a brake fluid leak, then get the car TOWED to the nearest garage where they can make repairs to your brake system. Then THEY can fill the brake system with the proper fluid.

Hi they usually use the one recommended by honda for that model so it would be in the handbook or if you ask the question on the honda website they would tell you.

D.O.T. 3. But don't fill it up until you have fixed the leak. Sounds like you have a blown caliper or wheel cylinder.
