What's the best price I should get a honda civic at year 96-00?
I want to get a honda civic from 1996 to 2000 it will be stick shift and the miles will be around 170,000
I see people asking more for the civic compared to kellybluebook? Is that normal?
For that year and mileage DO NOT PAY MORE than $3000 and never pay asking price always try to get off 500-700 off from asking price
Any smart seller will list their sale price over blue book. Ya never know, someone how is hell bent on having it might be willing to pay the asking price. But seller don't normally expect to get the asking price, and are willing to at least come down to true market value. That's the art of negotiating.
You can use more than one reference for car values. Www.kbb.com, www.nadaguides.com and www.clearbook.truecar.com
While it is normal for some makes and models to have owners asking more than blue book, that does not mean that they are getting their asking price. Sometimes owners are just delusional or deliriously optimistic. At the end of the day a car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
- How can you get the best rock bottom price on a new car? I'm shopping for a 2017 Honda Pilot but car buying services like Truecar is only offering a $2000 discount. I feel like that's not very much. Would it be possible to get $4000 off? How?
- Which Recent Honda Civic Year is the best? Hi, I'm looking to buy a used honda civic automatic either LX or EX. I've been looking at the 2012 model, but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Should i get a 2010 or 2011? Is there any difference between these models. My budget is 12 000 after taxes, and below 100,000km.

- Should I get new tires for a 16-year-old car? I have a 2002 Honda Civic sedan. Lately, I've noticed tires spinning when I accelerate on wet pavement or try to accelerate quickly. Of course, if I take it to a garage, they are going to try to sell me tires. With winter coming, I'm concerned about them, but do not want to invest in a whole set of tires on a car I may be trading in next year. Any suggestions?
