When should a 2012 Honda Civic need its transmission fluid changed, or serviced? The vehicle has 83,000 miles?
Lots of highway driving for a three year old car. Drives perfectly, no problems, just trying to look ahead.
You are due. Most all automakers recommend a transmission fluid and filter change after 60k miles.
Check the owner's manual. It will specify the interval. Most likely, you are at least 10-20,000 miles overdue.
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- My 2007 Honda Element has a mint body and interior and under 64,000 miles but due to its age it needs about 4k in work, here is the list New tires, front struts with dust boots and bump stops, rear shocks, alignment, water pump, universal belt, front lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, timing side engine mount, rear brakes, flush and bleed the system and emergency brake adjustment. Should I do the work and keep it due to low miles and good eyeball condition?
- Does the honda 600rr have its transmission in its engine? I bought a used honda 600 and it has a transmission problem. I went to a repair shop and he said they can't fix it because they have to completely disassemble the engine and that is a mess. Is it true and did he just say that because he doesn't want to do it?
- Should i replace my 08 civic water pump if it has 112,000 miles? I have a 2008 Honda civic lx and it has 112,000 miles. Some of my friends say to replace the water pump and others say just wait until I see any leaks or hear any noises. Right now my car is running pretty good and there's no leak and my car is not over heating. So what should I do?
