Which tire would be the best for my car?
I currently drive a 2011 honda civic ex. My tires need to be replaced. These are only two tires that i'm planning on purchasing. The tires are dunlop sp sport signature or the cooper cs5 grand touring. Out of the two options, which tire would you recommend the best for my civic?
Look at reviews for both of them and use that advice… Personally I would buy michelin tires - they will outlast the warranty!
You will be limiting yourself to these two specific models? Ok, that is fine, but you know there are many others.
The two tires fall in two separate performance categories. The SP Sport Signature is a high-performance all season and the CS5 is a grand touring all season tire. So which do you what, a tire that has better responsiveness and grip or a tire with a smoother and quieter ride? Personally I would go with the Dunlop if having limit myself to only these to models.
If you are willing open up your options you may wish to consider the Pirelli Cinturato P7 or Michelin Premier A/S if you want a better quality tire.
- Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
- Which one of these cars would be best for me? A 1996 Infiniti i30 or a 1991 Honda Accord coupe. They are both automatics. I currently own the Infiniti, but thinking of doing a trade for the Accord. I've never owned an Accord, but I'm sick and tired of putting in Premium gas. This thing also kills me in gas when I drive in town. I hear so many good things about these cars. What do you think?
