Which wheel do I spin to jump start a 2002 Honda Civic? Right or left?
I want to jump start a 2002 honda civic by myself. I've seen plenty of videos, put it into 3rd, put ebrake, lift the wheel with a stable jack, wrap a rope and pull it.
What I want to know, which side wheel do I spin? The driver or passenger? The side where the motor is or where the transmission is?
The right hand side wheel. I had the same issue. Its well known to Honda owners. Pull start your Honda huh? Too funny! What's so funny about that? You've never push started a car? Only difference is you're doing it without the help of a second person. Whose stupid idea was this? When you finally get set up to do this, please take a video and put it on YouTube. I would love to watch it for a big laugh! Was this on you tube it was a hoax then This is a really good way to run yourself over with your own car. Some people are born stupid.you? Your a self made man A "Jump Start" is done with jumper cables. It's an electrical process. What you're describing is a "Pull Start". Like starting a lawn mower. Only you're trying to turn over a four cylinder engine with more compression than a lawn mower. You're also trying to turn a set of gears. The weight of all that mass is going to be more than any normal human can muster. And the likelihood of injury doing so is - well, like someone before me said, post a video of you doing this, we'd LOVE a good laugh. That sounds dangerous. Just get a few friends to push the vehicle and pop the clutch with the transmission in 3rd gear to start the motor. Why do you need to jump start the motor instead of just use jumper cables or a jump box?

- Why does the left front wheel on my 4wheeler lock as soon as i touch the lever but the other 1 don't even hardly slow down? I have a 2007 Honda Recon 250 4wheeler and it's been doing that off and on for awhile now, i thought it might have been a low tire because it's done the exact same thing before with a low tire but my tire pressure is fine. I'm guessing something is wrong with the brake shoes but i'm not sure what to look for because i'm not very experienced in the mechanic department and i don't wanna mess something up worse than it already is Haha very funny Andrew
- Left outer tie rod end is replaced and now my steering wheel is off? In order to drive straight the top of the wheel is pointing between the 12 and the 11 and that is when there's no space between the outer tie rod end and the nut should i create some space between them? 2000 honda civic dx
- Car ran fine then wouldn't start, got a jump, now everything is fine again. What happened? '03 Honda Civic. Last 30 mins of work I sat in my car with the A/C on full blast and radio on, like I do everyday (and of course the car is running). I stopped at Subway after work. The car was parked for 10 mins. After the car would not start but the radio and dash board lights would come on, but it would not crank. Got a jump from AAA. Afterwards Auto Zone tested the battery and alternator, both passed. I has been a week now and no problems. What the heck could have happened?
- Are both front struts the same or do they have a Right & Left side label? 2002 Honda civic with 126,000 miles. It's time to finally replace my front struts. I'm buying OEM struts online but do I buy a right & left strut? Or are they both the same/interchangeable?
