Why are Honda Civic Si cars very popular and way more expensive than regular Civics?
Is it even worth it to get this kind of car?
So you asking why the premium Civic model which has all the cool options to go faster costs more and is very popular with teens… Common sense.
Only you can decide if you think something (a car or anything) is "worth it".
It has a better engine than the other civics brought to the USA, they have a close gear transmission and they have the better suspension.
Things that make the Civic Si different over the base model Civic:
DOHC iVTEC engine rated @ 200hp
6 speed close ratio gear box
Front helical limited slip differential
Sport tuned suspension
Si sport bucket seats
They're popular because you get rediculous amounts of mpgs for the performance and Honda reliability.
They are not worth it if you don't really care for performance. Even if you did, they're still kind of not worth it. There are better performing cars at the price range of the Civic Si. So you really have to want one or like the Civic but want more power than the base model offers.
- Why Suzuki is not as popular as Toyota, Honda.Nissan, Mazda, and Subaru? I hardly see any Suzuki vehicles on the road, and wonder why if t is also Japanese. it appears that both Mitsubishi and Suzuki lag behind its Japanese counterparts. I feel Suzuki are very good cars, but most people fail to see that and they don't notice it.
- Why does it appear used cars are more expensive than new? For example. I'm looking at a 2019 Honda City, new it's $17,990 drive away if I look on car sales the 2017 model is even $19,000. Ok the 2019 is a manual price but that's a huge difference and 2 years on. Please tell me what I'm missing?
- Which brands of cars are more reliable and less expensive to maintain? I have been driving American cars, Honda, Toyota and they're easy to find parts when something go wrong. I would like to buy a Volkswagen beetle or a European car. Like 2004 or 2003 Volkswagen beetle. If something go wrong, does it cost more to fix it? Is maintenance more expensive than a Honda or a Toyota yaris. I know the Honda and Toyota last forever after a few hundred thousand miles and they re still in excellent running condition with regular services. What do you guys think?
- Why are those Harley Davidson motorcycles very popular among old people? Usually, I see young people riding Honda or Kawasaki kind of motorcycles. But there are many old men who ride Harley Davidson stuff. Why do those young people prefer those fast bikes and old people like those Harley Davidson stuff?
