Why do people buy low powered cars like Subaru BRZ and Honda Civic?
These cars aren't cheap either like $10,000. So what's the point of buying these cars when you can add a bit more money and get much better cars?
Economy cheap to run low maintenance costs when all 1 does is sit in traffic and park in car parks a heap of power isn't needed. Because they are actually a brilliant car to drive, practical and economical, and plenty fast enough to get impounded and your licence suspended on the spot.
A "Sports" car is not always about sheer HP, that's a drag racer. A true drivers car puts more emphasis on the cars handling, and that car with it's good weight distribution and low centre of gravity is very good in that respect. Not everyone is immature and obsessed with power and speed. The brz is a front engine rear drive car, this layout makes for a very enjoyable driving experience, in conjunction with the 200hp boxer engine slow would now be the correct word to describe it given the very low weight of the vehicle, as for the honda civic, all models except the si are generally purchased for trouble free transportation that 4cyl hondas are known for, whereas the si is purchased for a similar reason a brz would be except with added practicality and added ease of everyday driving given the fwd layout. Theses are some of the best cars on the market, Not low powered, your not very bright. They are economical reliable and actually go very well. The power is not everything.
Look. At the number of VW beatles beating so called muscle cars on the drag strip. Cheaper to maintain and also you can mod and tune a civic pretty well to your speed

- Why don't more people buy Subaru? You just can't get a better deal for an AWD vehicle under $30,000. They are just as reliable as Nissan and Honda and have good mpg. Please no anti-Japanese car remarks, boring does not count as an answer.
- Why do some people buy new cars to save gas? It seems like people complain about high gas prices so they go and buy these expensive gas saving cars. Usually a Honda or Toyota hybrid that's about $35,000 dollars. So what's the point of buying the car if you just wasted all that money. You could have just used that money for gas. Don't you think it's better to just buy a cheap $1,000 dollar Honda and save all that money for gas? Because buying the new car you pretty much threw all the money away.
- Why do people buy new cars that are in its final year? Like why do people buy 2017 Honda Accord or Odyssey when they are being completely redesigned for 2018? I mean don't you want the latest and the best technology and not 4-5 year old tech?
- Why do uneducated people usually date other uneducated people? Like some hoodlum Mexican woman will fall madly in love with some cholo gang banger guy with face tattoos who's killed 10 people and works at McDonalds and thinks his primary aspiration in life is to smoke weed and collect air Jordan's and put a stupid spoiler on his 1995 Honda Civic. What's the attraction?
