Why do people hate Honda civics?

So I currently drive a 2006 Honda civic with 115, 000 miles on it. Its never had any problems and I have had it almost 10 years! Before, I had a Nissan sentra which was an OK car, at first, but after about 5 years and 60,000 miles it became nothing but trouble, one problem after another

I like them but I like the FIT better.

The Civic is really good selling car so clear the public doesn't hate Civics but maybe you mean older Civics owned by teens who make the loud and look goofy.

I'm a former Honda owner so i know about Honda quality, yet people sometimes "hate" on things for the most foolish reasons.

All Hondas are well designed and built. Other drivers may not wish to admit this.

People hate on them due to the massive amount of kids that get them and "rice" them out because they think 140hp is fast.

They're great cars but unfortunately the tuner community has a lot of dumb people with extremely obnoxious civics

The teenage ricers who think they are so cool when they are not. All the cool stuff like the skyline GTR and Supra are outside their budget.

Being a high seller for the past 30 years, it's not hated by people and their money.

Consider yourself a bit lucky. In 2006 Honda had trouble with the engine blocks used in the Civic, with too many of them cracking because of casting porosity. By the 2007 model year they mostly got that under control. Almost entirely because of that one horrible defect, carcomplaints.com rates the 2006 Civic "Avoid like the plague."

The Honda Civic is one of the worlds best selling and most reliable cars. That is why people hate it. They are jealous.

They are good, reliable cars, however, many people prefer a "peppier" car. The Civic, although well built, lacks power compared to many other cars.
