Why doesn't my car gauge warning lights come on?
Okay so I have a 97 Honda civic coupe and all of my gauge light works. But my check engine light, oil light, low gas, etc. Doesn't come on. What could be the problem?
I would check the fuse for the cluster. Not knowing for sure how honda wires up the cluster it most likely is ok since the gauges work. If you have an aftermarket cluster set that means someone has torn into it before and could have damaged or not wired it correctly. Another odd ball is if they all didn't fail at the same time due to the age of the car you could have a bad fuel sending sensor, oil pressure sensor. But that oil light should pop on if you put the key in and turn it to "on" but don't crank it to start.
Burnt out bulbs - that why the check happens with ignition on - so you can see all of the bulbs that are functioning.

- Parking lights, tail lights and instrument cluster not working. Why? 2000 honda accord v6, everything was working fine, turned on my parking lights (first turn before headlights) and no parking lights, tailights or instrument cluster/dash lights. Checked all fuses and they are good, honda forums suggest replacing headlight switch or checking for burnt/ bad wiring. Anyone have any other suggestions? I can't even drive at night now this sucks all i have is headlights and brake lights.
- My lights won't come on in my 99 Honda Accord? I just got this car a few weeks ago and all the interior lights did not work. Come to find out they didn't have bulbs… Well I order some and put them in and it still does not work. We'll I'm driving one night and my friend opens up the mirror and the light comes on! So only when my head lights are on is when my sun visor lights come on. But the rest of them still do not come on. Please let me know what you guys think about this.
- My 2003 honda accord will not start, but the lights and the dashboard come on? When i put the key in ignition the lights come on but it won't even make a noise. Just blank, not even that ticking sounds. I replaced my battery a couple months ago as well as the alternator.
