Why is my 2001 honda civic loosing coolant?
I have a 2001 honda civic Ex 1.7L. It is rapidly loosing coolant and I have no idea why. I have taken it to 3 professionally owned shops for the same reason and all three can't find anything wrong with it as far as leaks. My next best guess is that it is burning it somehow but I can't think of why. I did buy a new radiator cap and ill see how that works and there isn't any white smoke coming out of the exhaust so I don't think it is the head gasket.

If the coolant is not leaking externally, obviously the block is cracked, the head is cracked, or you have a bad head gasket.
- Why is the coolant from my radiator disappearing? (1998 Honda Prelude with a Jackson Racing supercharger) I replaced my old radiator because it cracked one day and was leaking. Before it had no problems as far as it just disappearing. I replaced my oem radiator for a Mishimoto radiator and ever since then it started disappearing.
- Why is coolant leaking from the ends of my top radiator hose on my 1999 honda civic? There isn't water leaking from anywhere else and it only seems to leak when the car has since cooled. It's never enough coolant for me to have to keep filling it up. I have changed the hose and it still seems to be leaking from the end seams. Any help is appreciated. d16y7 aluminum radiator 1.1 rad cap
