Why is my 2005 Honda Civic EX shuddering/jerking when accelerating (mostly uphill)?
I'm currently having an issue with my 05 Honda Civic EX where my car seems to shudder/jerk (as if the car hesitates to accelerate) from 2nd gear and above between 2000-4000rpms. The check engine light is on and I've checked the codes with the OB2 Scanner and they result with P0300-P0304 (engine misfires). So I've changed the spark plugs and engine coils, but the problem still occurs. The drive has me a bit worried since the check engine light would flash on and off for a few seconds then stay on, rarely. Any suggestions or help would be gladly appreciated.
1. Cheap or contaminated/adulterated Gasoline
2. Dirty Injectors.
3. Faulty sensors, or computer.
- Why is my car accelerating on its own? I have I 1993 Honda del sol(standard) I started having problems with it last week beacuse it was over heating and I still drove it like that I made sure it had water and everything should of been working fine but last night it over heated again when I got home from work. This morning I turn the car on it start accelerating on it's own without hitting the gas. I've never seen a car doing that I don't know what it could be. Can some help me?
- Honda Jazz Jerking / Power Cuts? Hi. 2008 honda jazs 1.4i LX 120000km. Sometimes in gear 2 and 3 while accelerating car loses power for one second. Its kinda jerking. I have changed the spark plugs but didn't help.
- Why is my car moving very slow on uphill? Honda civic 1.4 2000 manual problem, car is terribly slow on uphill only. I must stop and allow others to overtake as a result of this problem. I have taken to many garage and their predictions were contradicted. However no one told me exactly what is the cause.
- Why is my car creaking while turning and accelerating? I have a 2007 Honda Civic, which has been otherwise perfect except for one thing: every time I accelerate from a stopped position and turn the wheel right or left, It will make a creaking/clicking noise for a couple seconds until it gets up to speed. It drives and turns perfectly fine after that. Why is my car doing this?
