Why is my Honda Civic Hybrid not getting good gas mileage?
False advertising. Many owners have joined in a class action lawsuit against Honda. No one is getting improved gas mileage with those cars.
Because you are mostly driving it in highways or freeways where the gas engine is always in use, therefore it runs like a normal gas car.
You'll only get additional mileage when car is driven slow using electric power.
- Why are motorcycles bad on gas mileage? The other day I was driving my friends 2014 Honda Fit. I noticed that it got about the same gas mileage as my 2011 Honda CBR 600RR.
- Why does my car get unusually good gas mileage than normal? It's a 98 Honda Civic. I do 2 hours of Combined city and highway driving for 5-6 days a week. I kinda have a heavy foot, the rims are 1" bigger than stock and the car is due for it's next tune up this coming Monday. The car is rated at 28mpg combined when it was shiny back in 1998, and when I calculated mine i got 32 mpg combined, my calculation isn't wrong either as i have an mpg calculator
- What's the best automatic Honda Civic 1996-98 model (ex. Dx.lx. Etc) as far as gas mileage and reliability? I was interested in the 96-98 hx cvt civic yet there are many complaints of heavy vibrations when stalling. Also I can't drive manual and can't afford to take lessons
- How to drive a honda civic hybrid car with out hybrid battery? Bought a car about 4 months ago and the battery is now dead. I check to make sure its not the normal battery and Auto Zone said it was fine. I'm sure its the hybrid battery but i don't have the money to pay 1,000 or more for a battery on a car i just spent money on. Is there a way you can drive this car without the hybrid battery? Or dose anyone know a place to get these batteries cheaper?
