Will this set up pass California smog?
I have a Honda civic hatch back and it's missing the whole exhaust system. Thing is their stock cat which is also the header is quite expensive. What if i just get a carb legal header connect a regular cat and regular piping to muffler.
Hi No the car was fitted with a complete exhaust system which now must be replaced so you have no choices left either sell it as soon as possible and buy a car which has what it should have or spend yeti money on this one.
- How to set a 2000 Honda CR-V to TDC? I have a 2000 Honda CR-V and I need to set it to Top Dead Center. When I rotate the Crankshaft pulley there are two small holes on it. I think this is meant to align to TDC but I don't see any corresponding marks elsewhere. So if anyone has done this on this car before your advise would be greatly appreciated.
- California SMOG Check Changed? Has California changed the Smog Check requirement? Two of my vehicles ('98 Honda CRV and '02 Honda CRV) only did Pass/Fail check. Garage techs did not measure the emission data. Only one car ('98 Toyota Corolla) took emission check. Why?
- Possible fixes for smog test failure in California? My '93 Honda Civic del Sol failed the smog test. The results: (Numbers after slashes are the limits) @15 MPH @25 MPH 1720 rpm 2827 rpm CO2 14.8 14.8 O2 0 0 HC 29/71 22/41 CO 0.04/0.39 0.02/0.39 NOX **1254/720** 579/774 As you can see, it passes on all but the 15 MPH NOX. From this numbers, is it obvious what it would likely take to bring it back to passing status? Again this is a California spec car, being tested in California.
- How to set the clock on a 4th gen. Honda civic? My car is a 1989 honda civic DX hatchback. The unit is both a radio and a clock. I can't figure out how to set the clock. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
