Cost of getting new immobilizer car key programmed?
Hi, what is the average cost of getting an immobilizer key cut and programmed to the car? I already have the brand new uncut key. I'm just looking for the labor cost. The vehicle make is Honda.

I refused to mess with keys that customers bought on line because I wasted 3 hours a week screwing around trying to program them!
- If my 92 honda key isn't working, can I replace just the part where the key goes in, or do I have to do more? They are telling me that with installation, it will be like $300 at least, My friend just had the same problem, but in an much older pick up, but she said they just replaced a small part where they ket goes in?
- I need a new key for my car made? I just got a used 2003 Honda ex and the owners who sold it to me only gave me the secondary or spare key. When we asked them about the original key they said that they lost it. The key that I have doesn't fit into any of the locks. So where do I go to get the original key made?
