03 Honda Crv No AC: need freon or blown AC unit?
Googled and I guess there's a huge problem with the AC unit in the 03 CRVS to explode and send fragments through the system, thus causing it to not work.
Well my AC in my crv does not work, bought it from a used lot in the winter not knowing. When I turn the AC on it does not make any weird noises or anything, it just blows out warm air. It doesn't blow steaming hot but fan hot, if that makes sense.
Could it just need a freon charge or could the system be kerput?
For most Hondas the condensor coils are usually exposedthey take a beating from road debree and develop a leak. Other options are the switch, clutch, compressor, etc…
Here is the kicker, if you have a "leak" any freon would just leak out so you need to go to a repair shop then have them add a dye to the system to see where the leak is. Only then can you recharge the system with freon gas.
- Will a Honda head unit fit in a Mitsubishi? I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant. I recently purchased a Pioneer aftermarket head unit off of Amazon (1 DIN) and all the installation kits that I see at Pepboys, Autozone, etc are all for cars of makes with Honda/Acura, General Motors, etc. Will a Honda (same year) single DIN installation kit fit in my 03 galant? Or do I have to get a specific fitment for my car?
- Why won't my head unit turn on? I have a 1995 Honda Civic Hathcback. I just replaced my alternator and after i did that, my head unit will no longer turn on. The head unit itself still works, just not in my car, and none of my fuses are blown. My cigarette outlet still works and its on the same fuse as my head unit, which doesn't work. I didn't know if this was a common problem people have, but I can't figure out what's wrong with it.
- What is my remote wire connected to on my Honda civic 2005 head unit? I have an aftermarket head unit and this is the one i have http://www.cartoys.com/cdx-gt570up and i'm going to install a amp and subwoofer and cartoys installed my deck but i just looked at the remote wire that i would connect to the amp and something is already connected to it and i do not know what that is. I believe that the wire color it was connected to was either yellow and white or yellow and green.
- What else do I need as far as wiring for subs, head unit, and amp for 2002 Honda civic lx? I have a bass inferno 1500dx watt amp, with two 10 inch rockford fosgate punch p1 subs, and a pioneer FH-X700BT head unit that has bluetooth. I'm new to this is need to know what all wires are needed to be purchased so I'm able to install everything.
