Buying my first car and want to choose the right car I need something with a lot of room and thats safe?
I've been looking at the honda crv, kia sorento, chevy traverse/equinox, acura mdx/rdx, nissan maxima and buick enclave. I really want something thats going to last atleast (6-8) years without having to replace the transmission or engine I want something very reliable and i'm willing to pay more for something that will last than having to replace major parts in a short time thanks for your help!
I just went through the same thing and I wouldn't go with any Chevy or Kia because of all there problems they have been getting lately. Go with the nissan maxima or honda those are built to last and have a lot of room, not to mention there great for all seasons
I just bought a 2015 Subaru Forrester about a month ago. Great little car for the wifey.
Decide on how much money you can afford to spend on a vehicle. How to a bank or credit union and see if you can qualify for a vehicle loan. See how much they will give you.
The Subaru Forrester is rated very highly in safety and reliability. That is my pick for you.
Toyota RAV4
Honda CRV
Subaru Forester

- Taking my car into the shop for the first time (my first car and first time at a shop)? Recently acquired a 1999 Honda Accord for $1500 with only 160k. Runs great but my dad checked car and said oil is low and then proceeded to check the rest of the car and said all my fluids need to be replaced. What does that mean and what is the price for fixing this? I want to go to the shop with some sort of understanding of the prices so I know if I'm being ripped off or not.
