Can I put 235/65R16 winter tires on a Honda CR-V LX (235/65R17)? - 1

No, the tires would be smaller than the rims.

No, not suitable the rim size must be R17 inches, honestly try 245/60R17 is comfortable while driving. ^v^

235 is the tire wall height
65 is the width of the tire
R17 is the rim size…

Being that tires have a steel band in the rubber hugging the rim, no it won't stretch…

Id love to see you try… You have more chance of trump telling the truth than getting that tyre on

Hi so what as 16 inch rims means the car goes slower as to what the speedo reads.

Not on the same wheels, if that is what you're asking.

17 inch peg, 16 inch hole. What do you think?

If every number doesn't match, its a no go. That simple.

If they are on proper rims, sure. Get a bit more torque, less MPG. Doesn't matter if safety is an issue.

Not suitable

What part of 16" wheels vs. 17" wheels don't you understand? You'd need a completely different set of wheels + the vehicle would lose about 1/2" to an inch of ground clearance.
