How often should the valves, be adjusted on a 2000 Honda Crv?
I have a 2000 Honda Crv and i'm wondering how often the valves should be adjusted? Honda says 105,0000 and others say 30,000. Which is it?
The valves should be inspected every 105,000 miles and only need adjustment if they are noisy. If they are not noisy then no adjustment is necessary. This is spelled out on page 188 of your owners manual. Here is an online copy if you do not have one.

I do not adjust valves until having engine performance problems like misfire, valve train clattering etc.
Wow! You do need to close some of the old posts: You have a lot of open answers.
For most CR-Vs it is every 105K miles; for your first generation the valves *must* be adjusted - not just checked - every 30K miles. The B20B engine had a quirk of tightening the valves (seat recession, I presume) and would burn valves if they were not kept adjusted. See the source for the details from a CR-V guru who is well-known in Honda forums.
