I have a 2004 Honda CRV, I tried to check the Engine Block Heater Cord but I can't see any wiring?

Anyone who could help me locate the cord may be it is wrap or tie with the other wire?

Where are the location the heater can be install for me start looking at the wiring in there?

There's a chance it doesn't have one. If there's one it should be up front by the grill.

Typically, the power cord for an engine block heater will be mounted to the front of the car and maybe even hanging out under the hood and over the grille so it can be easily plugged in during the winter. The heater can be in several different places depending on the type of unit you have.

First you'll need to look at on the side of the engine block just right above the engine oil filter to see if there's an engine block heater is installed. The electrical cord then will run from there along the engine block toward the right side headlight and tight up at the front bumper grill with tie wraps, there you'll see the connector is cover with a protective cap.
Edit: Got an image for you but it's not really clear thought.I have a 2004 Honda CRV, I tried to check the Engine Block Heater Cord but I cant see any wiring - 1

  • Cracked top of Honda engine block. Looks repaired but how long will this last? Bought a used car 1 year ago. It runs fine and no problems. Took the car it for an oil change and mechanic noticed a leak. He took off the oil pan and found this. Oh the joys of buying a used car… Looks repaired but how long will this last? Honda quoted me $6000 to repair it… Can I keep running the car like this? Thanks Dan! This is a photo taken from the top. Timing chain to the right
  • Is there any way I can put in an aux cord to play audio if I only have USB ports? I started leasing a 2019 Honda CR-V recently, and the only inputs seem to be USB ports. My friends like passing around the aux cord when we drive places, and though the CR-V does support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, switching between a lightning cable and a micro-USB seems like a hassle (since they have different phone models). I found some USB to aux adaptors online, but the reviews on them say that they can't be used to do what I want.
  • Does the 1998 Honda Crv come with an Aux cord input? I have a 1998 Honda Crv and for the the 2 months I've had it, it feels like a sports car! However, i got one problem, the entertainment in my car is dry. I don't have any CDs and listening to the same music on the radio is boring. I have all these hot tracks on my phone that I can't play. Please if there's an aux cord input somewhere can someone please tell me where it is or how to hook one up.
  • Sell this car or keep it? I have a 2008 honda civic with 150k miles. Recently, it had a cracked engine block? Honda honored the extended warranty and fixed this at no cost to me. I now have a brand new engine with no miles on it. Is this the start of several repairs, and should I sell it? Or should I keep this car?
