Jeep Cherokee, Mazda CX-5, or Honda CR-v? - 1

I've been racking my brain trying to figure which car to buy. Honda been having quality issues lately. And I never hear anything about Mazda. Which one should I go for? I'll be taking road trips and I commute to go to school. I want something good on gas as well.

I'd recommend the CX-5. Mazdas rank highly in reliability, safety, sportiness, and speed. Plus, it's priced very well.

If not the Mazda, just don't buy the Jeep. Jeeps are overpriced, and notoriously unreliable and hard to drive. Jeeps are awful.

The CR-V still has the best overall quality and reliability ratings of all small to mid-sized SUVs. The Mazda CX-5 is a quality choice as well, but it's engine doesn't have much get up and go. Take the Cherokee of out the equation, simply not the best in reliability. You may also wish to consider the Hyundai Tucson and the Nissan Rogue, two very good quality choices in that size class.

I would not buy a Jeep unless you plan on keeping it forever. American vehicles have very fast depreciation. Otherwise that would be my choice. Between the Honda or Mazda I would take the Mazda. The Honda is boring but will hold its value better. The Mazda will be way more fun and comes with more extras for similar prices.

Mazda CX-5. It's pretty sporty, and it is competitively priced. I like it better than the CR-V, a vehicle I've always praised.

I would go for the CX-5. It used to be called the Mazda Tribute and that went from 2001-2012. It was based on the Ford Escape. The Ford Escape went from 2001-2015 (and probably still going on). I would also check that out. If you can afford it, check out a Lincoln MKC. It is Lincoln's version of the Ford Escape. The MKC was introduced this year and is a totally new vehicle in Lincolns lineup.

Mazda CX-5

  • Honda pilot or jeep liberty? So i'm searching for a new car and i'm either going to get a honda pilot or a jeep liberty but i was wondering out of the both which one is more reliable or better quality. I know other then the third row and more space in the pilots there engine's aren't much of a difference. And i'm assuming the gas is the same. But i like to get some feedback. Please be nice no rude comments
  • Mazda reliability? Particularly 2013 mazda 3? I'm in the market for a new car and I was looking between 2013 Toyota corolla which is just boring and doesn't have as much features compared to Honda, or mazda. The Mazda 3 is at a good price 1000 dollars cheaper then the Toyota. So my question is, is Mazda reliable for that generation, or should I stick with a very well known reliable car maker?
  • Honda hrv or Jeep renegade? I'm debating between the two and I know a lot of people love Hondas and say that they can run forever, but I've also been hearing some people say the same thing about jeeps! Which one would last longer?
