Honda CR-V LX: Sufficient Power?

If you own the Honda CR-V LX model, please give your opinion of its power (or lack of it). Does the LX's power suffice? Or is it practically mandatory to get the EX which offers more power? The LX would save me a lot of money but this power question is the deciding factor.

If I drop something into the engine bay, can I unscrew the bottom of the car to get it?

I dropped something into the engine bay and can hear it landed onto the bottom.

On the bottom of the car is a metal sheet. I can't squeeze under my car, but I can feel there are screws down there.

Do you think I can unscrew one side of the metal sheet (the side closest to the front bumper), bend open the metal sheet slightly, and poke a stick into it to retrieve what I dropped?

I have a 2017 Honda CR-V.

I have a honda crv on a uk 52 plate

I have recently had an MOT and received an advisory it says "suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement nearside front [2.4.G.2"
Can any please help me with photos on what I need to look at changing please as I haven't got a clue
