What do you call that square metal that protrudes in Honda CRV underside?
My uncle has a Honda CRV and It is always a bummer, also a photo bummer seeing that metal that is visible when looking at the front of the car. My uncle sometimes go on harsh roads on it and most of the time it catches some twigs, brushes vines, even have few dents after hitting some rocks… I mean what is that? I know does something to its suspension but come on it kinda ugly to look at especially its usually the first thing people will notice.
It called: "Front skid plate" The design is to protect the front end parts and the under side of the AC condenser/ Radiator in case of the vehicle is driven over some objects.
Do not take it off. It there for a lot of good reasons including protecting the engine oil pan or the under side of the power train.
- What's the part called on the upper right side? The square next to the grey? This is a Honda insight I'm missing a part of the bumper and I have no idea what the name of it is. I've looked on numerous websites and I still don't know what it is.
- Piece of metal fell out of car? Yesterday i started my minivan (Honda Odyssey 2002 EX) and when i changed the transmission gear, a piece of metal fell out of the car (see picture). At the top flat part its painted the color blue.
- Not getting a call back from job applying job as an auto consiltant at Honda Dealership? I submitted my resume on friday evening now kts monday evening and no phone call. They say don't follow up bu phone call because the business might think youre too desperate which is not good. The pefered method is through email but i don't know who to email because the manager does not have an email address.
- Do you think if they call a car a Sport model it should go fast? I remember when I think the Honda Fit/Jazz was called the "Sport model" and it got criticised for having soft suspension. These days "Sport" is used in most cars is used on the one with the most features and not fast cars very much. Should the ones with the most features be calling something else rather than sports?
