What's wrong with my CR-V CD changer?
I have a 2002 Honda CR-V. About a month ago, the 6 CD changer went out. It ate my CD s, and when attempting to load or eject a CD, makes grinding noises then goes dead. I bought one on eBay, used. When I plugged it up, radio works, CD player doesn't even register that it exists. Hit the CD button… Nothing. Complained, guy sends me another one. This one eats one of my CD s, then goes dead like the first. Guy sends me another one, this one plays awesome for an hour, then does the same thing, plays radio and tape player fine, but doesn't acknowledge the CD player.
Could it be my wiring, or am I just getting a bunch of junk CD players from the guy? I don't want to complain again if it's something on my end.
Try hitting the reset on both the deck an the CD changer and if that does not work then check the wiring, but odd someone actually using a CD changer still, i haven't used mine that came with the truck for atleast a good 5 years!
Why are you wasting your time and money on 15 year old CD players that aren't factory refurbished? Install a new after-market player and your troubles will probably vanish - assuming you have the skills to hook one up properly, that is.
You are wasting your time and money on equipment that is too old.
Go get a NEW player made within the last three years.

All the adapters I have seen require a device to plug into the CD Changer port of the stereo, however I do not want to lose my CD player. Is there a device that will utilize the Aux function, that the only available port for is in the back of the van and therefore not used, to enable bluetooth to the stereo?
- Trailer hitch install gone wrong? So i have a 2008 honda crv. I had a trailer hitch installed at the place i rented my uhaul before i moved to florida 5 months ago. Now i'm having electrical problems and 1000 dollars later in repairs. The honda dealership has come to the conclusion that the trailer install is the cause and is removing the whole tow package which is another 200. Is there anything i can do about the last shop messing my car up?
- What's wrong with my car? I have an automatic honda accord 92. It just today like maybe 30 minutes ago started making this sound. It's when I change gears from park to reverse. Or park to drive. Or whatever gear. It sounds like the transmission is slapping the engine. It sounds like it is about to break. I've heard it's I need transmission fluid. What could this be?
- What is wrong with my car? The 'S' light is on? My 91 Honda Accord has the 'S' light on and it is in a constant rev between 3 and 4, I drive the car in D4 gear, if I drive it like a stick and start in gear 1 the rev will go down when i switch to gear 2 but not when i switch to gear 3 or 4
